THE BRAIN · OUR OWN CONTROLLER

The farm runs itself. You harvest.

Every Metro farm, from a single cabinet to a container, runs on the same small controller. It reads the room, runs the lights and the water, photographs the crop and tells you what to do next. It keeps working with no internet at all.

What it does

SENSES

Air temperature and humidity, water temperature and level, light and power use. Door and tank sensors too.

SEES

A camera on each crop logs growth every day, so you can see a problem before it shows on the plate.

RUNS

Switches the lights and the pump on their own schedule. If the internet drops, the farm carries on.

PLANS

Shows what is ready, what to sow next and when, on a screen on the door.

IN THE BOX

Plug it in. That is the setup.

The Brain comes in a finished case, with sensors on cables that plug straight in and a ready-paired smart plug for the pump and lights. No soldering, no wiring diagrams.

A DAY WITH THE BRAIN

What it does while you work.

  1. 06:00

    Lights on

The lights come on for the day. Trays still germinating stay covered until they are up.

  2. 09:00

    Water

Floods shelf 3 for a few minutes, then lets it drain back to the tank.

  3. 12:00

    Photos

A picture of every tray, added to the crop log.

  4. 15:00

    Check

Tank at 30%. Adds "top up the tank" to tomorrow's plan.

  5. 22:00

    Lights off

Logs the day and works out tomorrow's rota.

An example day in a Metro Solo. Times and actions change with each crop.

ALERTS

It speaks up before a crop suffers.

Only the messages worth reading, on the door screen and on your phone. No dashboards to check unless you want them.

READY

Shelf 2 is ready to harvest

Red amaranth, day 10.

HEADS UP

Tank is getting low

Top up within two days.

CHECK

The door has been open 10 minutes

Close it to keep the climate steady.

The same Brain runs a Metro Solo in a kitchen and every rack in a container farm. Learn on one cabinet, then scale without learning a new system.
